Collection: Kintsugi Collection

This collection draws inspiration from the Japanese philosophy of kintsugi, or “golden joinery”—the art of repairing broken pottery with gold, embracing cracks and flaws as part of an object’s story. Rather than hiding imperfections, kintsugi illuminates them, transforming them into something more beautiful and meaningful.

These hand-embellished prints began as slightly imperfect test prints, created while I was learning how to manage color with my home printer. Instead of discarding them, I chose to honor the learning process by finishing each piece with gold ink or gilding—adding new life, depth, and intention. Each work in the Kintsugi Collection is truly one of a kind and will not be reproduced.
