This one-of-a-kind version of "Peach Blossoms" is finished by hand with gold ink, tracing the edges of the petals and adding raised gold details to the flower centers.
The metallic accents catch the light as the viewing angle changes, bringing a subtle shimmer and dimensionality to the vivid pink blossoms. Against the warm blush background, the gold adds contrast without overwhelming the softness of the composition.
In Chinese culture, peach blossoms are associated with luck, romance, renewal, and new beginnings, giving the work an additional layer of meaning beyond its springtime subject.
This piece began as part of my Kintsugi-inspired series, in which test prints and color variations were transformed through hand embellishment rather than discarded. The gold details were applied individually by hand, making this a unique physical version that will not be reproduced in exactly the same form.
