Pink Camellia - Gouache Embellished

This one-of-a-kind version of "Pink Camellia" combines a soft floral composition with hand-applied gouache, creating a more layered and tactile surface than the original digital print alone.

The large pink bloom fills much of the lower composition, surrounded by deep green leaves and smaller buds. Across the blue-gray background, I added a dense field of looping and concentric lines by hand, introducing movement and visual tension around the quieter floral forms.

The gouache embellishment changes the character of the piece substantially. The flower remains soft and open, while the darker hand-painted pattern makes the surrounding space more active and graphic. Up close, the variation in the painted lines and brush pressure makes the physical handwork especially visible against the smooth matte print beneath.

Because the gouache was added individually by hand, this is a unique physical version of "Pink Camellia" and will not be reproduced in exactly the same form.
