I've always had a fascination with dogwoods (which inspired my first Dogwood piece: "Dogwoods Give Me Butterflies"). For this second interpretation, I wanted to loosen things up and let the blossoms drift more freely across the composition. The creamy background, soft blue-white petals, and scattered branches give "Dogwood Dreams" an airy, almost daydream-like quality.
